You know the saying that to make yourself feel better, serve another... I've been working on that concept and it's really true. Here's what I have made and donated to a silent auction for a friend of ours that has cancer. It started out with bladder cancer, then returned in his hip bones. He has a wife and 4 kids. Kind of takes your breath away...

So I made and quilted the heart quilt...

and I made 4 button bracelets to donate.

I hope that in some way it will help with the mounting bills and costs they are dealing with.

oh the life of a little girl...

I bought this little toy box/bench to store Jayleigh's toys in. This is how I found her this afternoon...she makes my heart sing!!

Home Home on the Range!

Well...I knew it was goign to happen...I knew there was a time that I would do it, and I did. I'm home from my trip to California. I have been gone 39 days--Kurt told me that--.

Now, I just have to climatize to being in my own home!
