Leprachon

 A couple of weeks ago, Jayleigh asked me if I would make her a Leprachon outfit including the hat.  Here's my attempt at the skirt, and the perfect hat!

oh, and yes I know that the shirt doesn't match!!

We've had 2 back to back storms...love it!

I'm a sucker for little things....

What can I say?  

um...Crochet???

In an effort to learn to make these...

I had to teach myself to crochet. So, here's my attempts.  HA!  I thought I better try something that I can read the instructions before I bit off more than I could chew with the flowers.

 This was 3 different attempts to figure out a pattern.

 Another attempt at a flower, but not the African flowers that I wanted to make.

 Then I thought that preemie baby "clouches" would be easy.  NOT!

 I thought maybe thicker yarn was going to work better.  NOT!!

 Then...I think I have found one that I can make and actually donate to a

hospital for the babies.

 This one is for a larger baby... not bad, huh?

 And look at me go...this one is my favorite.  I do however wish I'd done a

pink center on the flower. 

But hey,  I've got lots of yarn now...

I know I've got a lot to learn and a long ways to go, but I'm having fun. 

(sorry about the size of the large picture, I can't make it fit right!)

Went to bed last night seeing the street and the grass. 

Woke up to all this WHITE stuff!! 

Woohoo!!
