and you cut them like this...

(there are 144 Trapezoids in the white pile and 24 in the yellow pile)

With a little sewing and some foundation paper piecing you should have this when you are DONE!

Jayleigh and I had a little, short, quick, FUN photo shoot before she had to go home on Sunday. We were trying out all her "looks". Look like you're happy, sad, mad, put your feet together, etc. She's just silly...I love her!

Fun and lunch!!

Julie and I ran away on friday to a few quilting places, helped Karli move into her new apartment and LUNCH!! We went to California Pizza Kitchen at the mall in Provo. The only other time I have eaten here is with Julie and her family while they were living in San Diego. I couldn't read the menu thus the glasses...that belong to Julie!!

little ducks

I went up to the cemetary today and had to stop and see what the people were watching. I probably watched these little ducks and the two geese and their goslings for about 45 minutes. I guess it's Mother's Day in the animal kingdom too!!

I took this with my phone so it's not the greatest, but you'll get the idea. you only have to watch about 45 seconds of this to see them swimming by.
