Slip'n'Slide

Jayleigh got a slip and slide for her birthday.  The day was perfect...

96 degrees,  sun shining,  light breeze and Dawn dishwahing soap.

Watching Jayleigh was fun,  then Dallas got into it,  then Brook!!  It was a great time had by all!!

She's 5!

Jayleigh and Grampa Jeff share the same birthday.  Jayleigh is 5, Jeff is 55.  We invited Jeff and Linda and Kayla to come to the "party" at Planet Play.  A good time was had by all!! 

We opted to open presents and had cake and ice cream back at my house. 

 I'm pretty smitten with this little person.  She teaches me alot and keeps me laughing! What a kid!! 

I love you Jayleigh!!

On Facebook people have been posting pictures of things that are "old".  I remember these.  Do you? 

for the birds

You all know how I feel about the birds that visit my backyard.  I wanted to try making the suet that I buy at Wal-Mart for $.97.  So I buy stuff that looks like Crisco,  corn meal,  peanut butter, etc.  When it hardens in the fridge, you take it out and cut it into squares that fit in the suet cage.

The pictures speak for themselves.

Dallas informed me that there was not to be bird food in the fridge, but cakes, brownies...
