In an effort to learn to make these...
I had to teach myself to crochet. So, here's my attempts. HA! I thought I better try something that I can read the instructions before I bit off more than I could chew with the flowers.
This was 3 different attempts to figure out a pattern.
Another attempt at a flower, but not the African flowers that I wanted to make.
Then I thought that preemie baby "clouches" would be easy. NOT!
I thought maybe thicker yarn was going to work better. NOT!!
Then...I think I have found one that I can make and actually donate to a
hospital for the babies.
This one is for a larger baby... not bad, huh?
And look at me go...this one is my favorite. I do however wish I'd done a
pink center on the flower.
But hey, I've got lots of yarn now...
I know I've got a lot to learn and a long ways to go, but I'm having fun.
(sorry about the size of the large picture, I can't make it fit right!)

you've got to help me when I come to visit. My flowers look more like weeds
These look great Aunt Myrna! I especially love that last hat. It is adorable. I'll have to learn how to make these.
I love those flowers Myrna, they are so delicate and beautiful. The hats are just darling too! Your one skilled woman.
Look at you go! I'm still working on my flowers; but now in the #10 thread! Tiny!
