Gramma's girl

Jayleigh was here over the weekend. I took a few pictures of her--she's growing up WAY to fast. She is playing with a glow in the dark bracelet that her Dad got her at the mall.

She loves the stool that Uncle Kurtis made her. She carries it wherever she wants. She's a Gramma's girl!!

an organized mess...

Since I have been documenting the progress on the kitchen remodel, my sister said that I needed to include a picture of where all the stuff is.

Taking out the tile was very theraputic! I loved it! These are my new favorite tools!! My partner in destruction!

The pantry is still standing. This is after we got all the cupboards out...no sink...no dishwasher...no microwave...

The new shop vac in the corner...we had to put the table in there to have somewhere to set stuff. You don't realize how much you use your counters until they are gone...HA!!

A break from the remodeling...

While Jayleigh was here for the weekend, we made her a Barney, BJ and Baby Bop shirt. I asked her if I could take a picture of her wearing it and this is what I got...

Let the good times BEGIN!!!

The Remodel has begun! YIPPEE!! I can hardly stand the wait. I've waited 25 years for this, and it's going to be what I want, how I want it and it's gonna be BEAUTIFUL!!

I wanted share a few important steps in this process. One, the hole above the kitchen. Cool, huh? They are checking to see what needs to be done to raise the ceiling height. I love it! These next few pictures are spectacular!! EMPTY cupboards, you read that right...they are EMPTY. Ok, I'm really going over board here, but I'm so glad to be getting rid of the old spices, old candy, old candles, old, old, old...It's really quite liberating.

Can't wait to share more. We are starting the demolishion this weekend, so I've got to get to cleanin' out more cupboards, and moving the craft room...yikes...I REALLY better get a move on.
